Entirely surrounded by the peacefulness of the mountain panorama of Abruzzi, a few kilometers from L'Aquila, the wonderful apartments Sotto l'Arco are available all year round also for short periods or weekends.
Sotto l'Arco is the ideal place if you want to spend days of relax. During the summer, with the bikes at your disposal, you can reach green and scented meadows and enjoy the sounds of the natural landscape, while in the evening our barbecues will create a cheerful and nice atmosphere.
Situated in the heart of a small town of Abruzzi, among ancient houses and barns, the apartments have been finely renovated carefully respecting the original shapes, colors, and materials (stone, wood, and bricks) and are furnished with traditional wooden and wrought iron furniture.
Each apartment consists of kitchenette, dining-room, rooms with en-suite bathroom, and is equipped with TV set and fireplace which, during the winter, creates a warm and homely atmosphere and gives to the whole apartment a cosy country style.
Each apartment is provided with linen. Sheets are changed every week, while bathroom linen will be changed every other day.
The cost of the stay will be agreed on with the guests and the total cost, including high-quality facilities and equipment, will be competitive with the cost of similar structures.
Situated at the border with Gran Sasso e Monti della Laga National Park at 780m asl, Barete represents the heart of the wonderful "Upper Aterno Valley".
The landscape, enhanced by the characteristic colors of the seasons, includes hills, piedmont areas, and mountains.
