The Operator guarantees that their structure is barrier-free, with: 1) Parking lots with parking spaces near the entrance, and wider than normal, reserved for people with reduced mobility. 2) Wide and regular external path, with possible ramps at least 90 cm wide and maximum slope of 5%. 3) Entrance with door at least 90 cm wide. 4) Spacious reception, without carpets or rugs that make the passage difficult. 5) Wide corridors, or with maneuvering areas for people in wheelchairs. 6) Regular and homogeneous stairs, with comfortable handrails at a height of about 1 meter. 7) Elevators with cabin at least 140 cm deep and 110 cm wide, with a side-sliding door of at least 80 cm. 8) Rooms located on the ground floor or in the immediate vicinity of an elevator, with an access door at least 80 cm wide. 9) Large bathrooms, with sliding door or opening door to the outside, open shower or equipped with a shower box with an opening greater than 70 cm.

The Structure

An old but perfectly renovated country house in the heart of Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna National Park, one of the most important protected areas at a national level.

The cuisine of Il Poderone proposes dishes from the culture of Tuscany and Romagna with self-produced raw materials and it offers the possibility to spend unusual and regenerating holidays surrounded by nature.
There are a number of opportunities to discover the trails of the ridge through long walks or cycling. The Park offers a very rich wildlife like deer, fallow deer and roe deer for photographers and curious tourists. Furthermore, Il Poderone is the ideal place for visiting old villages like Celle and Pian del Grado that preserve the rural history of the area. It is also possible to reach the top of Mounts Falco and Falterona, Camaldoli, Campigna or Corniolo.

Our hospitality

The incomparable beauty of the surrounding landscape goes hand in hand with a careful hospitality: the guest will never be left alone thanks to the presence of Lorenzina.
We use local products coming from our vegetable garden, orchard and henhouse (we produce hen, duck and goose eggs) all produced according to ORGANIC farming, using ancient species to find the traditional tastes again.
It is not only possible to eat here for tasting traditional dishes, but also to buy directly our products.

Il Poderone is also a didactic farm with guided visits to vegetable gardens, orchards and forests in Foreste Casentinesi National Park.

You can reach the place easily from the road SS 310, both from the slope of Romagna and from the slope of Tuscany.

    The Holiday Farm has 4 en-suite double rooms; the prices (INCLUDING DRINKS) are per day and per person, with accommodation in twin room:
