| It is a wide peat-bog situated in the center of a lake's basin. The lake formed after a morainic barrage which dates back to the Würmian; afterwards the lake progressively was filled up by the formation of peat. There is a typical vegetation of moist meadows, and above allGentiano-Molinietum, but also Schoenetum ferruginei, Trichophoretum alpini and Caricetum elatae e Caricetum rostratae. |  |
