The Park Offices and Visitor Center in Via Gattico 6, in Mercurago di Arona (Novara), have been opened again in January 2003, at the entrance of Lagoni di Mercurago Park.
The Visitor Center is provided with a car park and a fountain with drinking water, where it is possible to fill the water-bottles before a trip or a tour by mountain bike.
Next to the Visitor Center there is a roofed-over picnic area equipped with toilets, where it is possible to stop before or after having a walk.
In the recently renovated structures of the Visitor Center it is possible to receive information on the visit to Lagoni and the other Protected Areas of the Verbano: maps, info on guided visits, bird watching, and the ongoing events and activities.
There are also a number of "gadgets" for sale (T-Shirts, caps, stickers, videos, and other material).

The Visitor Center includes a conference hall, a thematic library, and a didactic hall where groups of students and other groups can carry out experiments and make observations with the microscope.
In the didactic hall there is a foam-rubber diorama representing the characteristic insects and plants populating the meadows-pastures.
During the year, various thematic displays are organized in the conference hall: they can be freely visited during the opening times or during events and celebrations.

A feather collection can be consulted to determine to which species belongs a feather found during the tours.
Some monoliths on display represent the characteristic soil profiles of Lagoni Park.
