The itinerary crosses a beautiful conifer mixed woodland housing rare bird species and several ungulates. Out of the woodland, as if a curtain opened up, you will admire the imposing walls of the western slope of Argentera, the mythical Corno Stella - the last 3,000m high mountain to be conquered - and Madre di Dio chain. At the foot of Corno Stella, Bozano Mountain Hut, an ideal departure point for mountaineering and climbing.
From Gias delle Mosche car park, go back towards the valley bottom along the road for a few meters until you will meet on the right, shortly after crossing Rio dell'Argentera, the trail marker of the itinerary.
The trail climbs steeply in the thick conifer woodland, with hairpin bends leading to Gias del Saut (1,847m). You will enter then Vallone dell'Argentera and reach the rests of Gias della Mesa (2,070m), reaching then high altitudes with hairpin bends developing on the slopes of Cima del Souffi. At the end, after a traverse, you will reach the mountain hut (2,453m).
