Charming itinerary partly recovered by Comunità Montana Parco Alto Garda Bresciano and Azienda Regionale delle Foreste. To reach the departure point, it is necessary to reach first SS road Gardesana occ. 45 bis. After Gargnano town center and after a few galleries, stop in the small car park in front of the old lemon garden of "Prà de la Fam" ("Prato della Fame" - 65m), you can visit for free during the opening times. To reach the beginning of the trail, pass under a portico and follow the flight of steps on the left quickly leading to the mountain slope. Cross the small bridge with waterfall and follow the cypresses. After a steep uphill stretch, walking along rocky walls, you will reach a large olive grove offering a wonderful view of Tignale Plateau, the lake, and Mt. Baldo (359m). Going ahead along an easy mule track, you will shortly reach the asphalt road. Once crossed the asphalt road, follow uphill the opposite narrow road leading to Oldesio (441m). Going along the same narrow road, you will reach Gardola town center (555m). From Gardola, it is necessary to head for Prabione going along via Europa, also leading to the foot of Montecastello Sanctuary (547m). From Prabione, follow a narrow road which, heading eastwards, runs along the new Naturalistic Observatory – former Ersaf nursery; once you reach "cascinale del Bait", at the following junction, turn right and, after crossing a small woodland, you will find yourself again at the edge of the plateau. From here, a steep and breathtaking trail leads you downhill with several bends on the sides of the ravine dug by torrent S. Michele. After crossing the iron bridge on the ravine, you will reach a rather low gallery marking the beginning of a stretch of step-shaped trail dug into the rock. The wild environment, very charming, and the wonderful views will delight the spirit and heart of travelers. Once you reach the bottom and after crossing a couple of small bridges on the old Gardesana road, the trail runs along the old and abandoned warehouses of the former Cotonificio Olcese, and then reaches Campione.
