Walking along the Lake, from Gargnano to Piovere

Leaving from the bus station in Gargnano, follow the road S.S. 45 bis Gardesana occidentale direction Riva: after about 2 km, at a junction before the beginning of the galleries, take on the left the road to Muslone. Following the asphalt road for about 5 km, you will reach the small town and cross it, keeping the church on the right. At the end of the town, the asphalt road ends, and the trail with white and red markers begins: always running along the mountainside facing the lake and offering a wonderful panorama, after 3 km it will lead to Piovere, in the Municipality of Tignale.
At the end of the trail, before reaching Piovere, take the paved road on the right, going downhill until it meets the old asphalt road leading to Gargnano, you will take by turning right. Continue downhill on the narrow asphalt road and reach, after three steep hairpin bends requiring caution, a site between two galleries along S.S. 45 bis.
Here turn right and take the old Gardesana road, now closed to the traffic, that in about 4 km and running along the lake will lead you to Gargnano town center passing by Villa Feltrinelli, in the past residence of Mussolini's family and today detached seat of the University of Milan.
