Linked to the environmental education proposals by CEAR, the trail develops in a forest setting made of beech trees and spruce firs and is dedicated to the nature of the local rocks and two past traditional activities: charcoal and lime production. A charcoal pile has been reconstructed with great care and an ancient lime kiln has been restored. The panels situated along the route are dedicated to the many animals populating the area.
Charming features characterizing the trail are wooden sculptures obtained from trunks and representing different animals.
