Brochure
Caffarella Valley reflects the history of Rome, of the town and its culture, its people, and the territory where they settled. Situated next to the Aurelian Walls and between two important ancient roads, Via Latina and Via Appia, the valley was theater of myths and legends, probably suggested by the gentle hills forming a natural border and by the presence of Almone, a small tributary of the Tiber, considered a sacred river by the Romans since ancient times.
Notes: The brochure is available in the Park Offices of Via Appia Antica, 42 and in the Info Points.
