The Cammino Naturale dei Parchi (Natural Walk of the Parks) was born in 2016, along with the proclamation by the Italian Ministry of Culture of the National Year of Walks, and at the same time as the Extraordinary Jubilee of Mercy, with the aim of creating a different route from the one we are used to.
25 stages, 4 weeks, 7 protected areas, 430 km winding from the evocative remains of the Urbe to the untouched nature of the deepest Apennines, a trek from Rome to L'Aquila, passing through different municipalities, towns, and villages, to foster the protection and enhancement of the cultural and environmental heritages of small realities.
