Rossiglione, the largest village in the Stura Valley, is divided in two hamlets by the Stura stream. Rossiglione Inferiore, which dates to the 1200s, grew around the parish church Nostra Signora Assunta and is characterized by "stretched" buildings, once thread-making mills now turned into houses.
Rossiglione Superiore dates back to mid XIV century with typical tall houses lining narrow streets with low vault arcades.
You can't miss the artistic Christmas crèche in the Oratorio di S. Sebastiano, a walk along the Nature Path leading to the Val Gargassa canyons. Worth a visit is the Passatempo Museum, an amazing journey of the memory through the objects used in the years after the II World War.
