Tirotto is the typical bread of Sassello made from wheat flour and potatoes. It is pulled into shape, "tirato", from which it takes its name, and slightly rolled. This is a special type of bread that can be prepared in various ways: there is the Common Tirotto that contains neither oil nor fats, Tirotto with oil, Tirotto enriched with potatoes and oil.
The exceptional blend composed of low mineral content water and the pure air of Sassello are key elements in the success of the Tirotto.
