Parco Regionale dei Castelli Romani

The Park history began thanks to citizens, who decided to preserve the unique combination of nature and history characterizing the area of Vulcano Laziale, collecting signatures for its establishment.
In 1980, after Regione Lazio had not approved the Park establishment law before the end of the regional term 1975-80, the Park Promoting Committee published this book, on the one side to relaunch the struggle for the establishment of the protected area, on the other side to offer the citizens of Castelli Romani a more detailed information on the potentialities of their territory.
