Mount Fuso stands out from the low hills between the right bank of the Parma stream and the left bank of the Enza river to mark the border between the municipalities of Tizzano Val Parma and Neviano degli Arduini. It is the perfect place for day trips with a nature and scenic background, but also for in-depth study of the themes linked to the partisan struggle and the Resistance period that left a deep sign on these places.
The mountain, reaching 1115 m a.s.l. at its highest point, where a beautiful memorial stone was placed in 1901, extends in a south-west-north-easterly direction and marks the watershed between the Parma and Enza streams.
The Mount Fuso summit, but also the beautiful areas of its slopes, are crossed by many CAI (Italian Alpine Club) paths, passing through its major points of interest, both from a historical and natural point of view.
