Application as UNESCO Biosphere Reserve: First Stage calendar of meetings
(Este, 28 Feb 22) A series of meetings will take place with the purpose of engaging the main stakeholders of the Euganei area. During the meetings the application procedure will be illustrated, together with the opportunities that come with being a Biosphere Reserve.
Colli Euganei Regional Park's application as MaB Reserve moves swiftly forward. The first of four stages will be concluded next April, and consists of several aims: identifying the governance, the potential Reserve's added value in terms of knowledge, value and practices, and its perimeter ad zones. Raising stakeholders' interest is a further, fundamental objective, and the purpose of a series of meetings addressing local authorities, schools, and the tourism, rural, and association sectors.
