Via San Daniele, 50 - Abano Terme
The lords of Montagnone, of Longobard descent, built the Monastery of St. Daniele for the Benedictine monks between 1076 and 1078. In the mid-15th century, the building became property of Venice's Canonici Regolari del SS. Salvatore, that carried out restoration works. Then, in 1771, following a decree by the Republic of Venice, the Monastery was suppressed and put on sale.
