Parco Regionale del Corno alle Scale

Surrounded by large replanted coniferous forests and dominated by an enormous beech tree, this mountain pass is the junction point of various trails. The ancient dirt road that crosses it, arriving from Segavecchia and headed to Pian d'Ivo, is also known as the Via dei Signori, perhaps referring to the outsiders who travelled this road to reach Tuscany in medieval times.
