The Rice of the Po Delta is cultivated between the Veneto and Emilia-Romagna, in the areas formed by the Po river debris and deposits, in an area bounded to the north by the Adige river and to the south by the Ferrara/Porto Garibaldi navigable canal. The entire production cycle of the PGI Po Delta Rice, from sowing to packaging, takes place within the Po Delta. The delicate balance between land and water guarantees its particular nutritional and organoleptic characteristics.
