Mullet belongs to the Mullidae family. Females can reach a length of 30 cm, while males usually never exceed 20 cm. It has very valuable and tasty meats to be used in roasts (the largest speciments) or in frying (the small ones). Semi-fat, it contains a good amount of noble proteins and a significant presence of vitamin PP, vitamin A and phosphorus. Suitable for all ages, it is particularly indicated in childhood and adolescence.
