Parco dell'Etna

The book is a considerable contribution to the knowledge of the hypogean cavities of the volcano. Edited by Centro Speleologico Etneo with the contribution of Italian and American researchers, this volume has been presented during the works of the IX International Symposium held in Catania in September 1999. Together with a list of the caves on the Etna and 40 detailed tables about the hypogean cavities of great interest, the naturalistic, archaeological, and anthropological aspects of the volcano are described.
