Along a stone-paved road upstream Bronte and across a fascinating stretch of pahoehoe lava, you will reach the beginning of the trail. The first stretch is characterized by the presence of arboreal brooms followed by a woodland of holm oaks and English oaks. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the north-western slope of Etna scattered by a number of small volcanic cones dating back to different periods and by still intact fascinating natural corners.
