The lavish villa, in the classic Pallasio's style, was built in 1718 according to the project of the Venetian architect Giorgio Massari; it was composed by a central body, with frescoes by Gian Battista Canal, and two large "barchesse". In the second half of the 19th century the Polas were having economic troubles and they could not pay the taxes weighing on the villa, therefore they decided to demolish it and maintaining only the western barchessa which was used as a warehouse.
