Parco Naturale del Fiume Sile

Casacorba is a small village belonging to the municipality of Vedelago, in the province of Treviso. According to tradition, since 1717 a priest from Casacorba wrote the almanac "Schieson de Casacorba", inspired by the parishioners he listened to under the shadow of the great Celtis australis ("s-cieson" in local dialect), which grew in front of the church. Giovanni Anastasio Pozzobon drew inspiration from this first almanac to write his own Schieson Trevisan.
