The path follows the ancient connection ways between the built-up areas of Dro and Pietramurata.
One can take the path from the locality of Oltra (Dro) or from the Pietramurata's square, with the presence of intermediate accesses in the locality of Ciclamino and Bagattoli lake.
This route is suitable for everybody, it meanders through the black pine forest giving the opportunity to reach unexpected panoramic points at the foot of Brento Mount, where one can perceive the grandeur of the erosion scar which originated the Marocche di Dro.
