Palazzo della Ragione, Mantua, 11th-26th March 2006
How can we represent the whole territory of Parco del Mincio in a wonderful medieval building of the town of Mantua? How can we taste along the course of this big river the magic of the territories, the traditions, and the culture which it has always nourished?
From 11th to 26th March in Palazzo della Ragione, Mantua, all this is represented in a multisensorial exhibit able to catch the attention of students, tourists, and residents on an unusual way to get closer to nature reserves, ancient mills and rural farmsteads, fortresses, castles, several small towns which, from the last branches of Garda get to the historical place where Gonzaga lived, and then go ahead following the mouth of Mincio into the river Po.

A unique social event for the World Water Day
Two events on the program, from 9.30 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.

Themes of the two events: Water and Energy, Water and Local Agenda 21, Conscious Consumption, World Water Contract
Appointment along the banks of the river Mincio (lungolago Gonzaga and campo canoa in Mantua), the river Oglio and the river Po (area Golena, via al Ponte, Viadana) for a great social event on the occasion of the World Water Day, with various events and a series of activities for schools and citizens: from "land art" to alchemy labs in the open air, from mass dressing-up to art ateliers in the open air, from tours by canoe to tours by bike.
Activities for schools and citizens: tours of the Lakes and along the river Po by motorboat, by canoe in the lakes of Mantua and in the swimming-pool, tours by bike or on foot, labs and stands about conscious consumption, monitoring and use of water, theater activities and performances, labs and stands on renewable energy and hydrogen, on bio-building, Fattorie Didattiche workshops, art and reading workshops, music concerts.
The groups of students can take part in the suggested activities or organize their own activities.
