Tiri Area - Woodland Ring-Route - San Valeriano

Very near the parking area of the former rifle range, there is a large meadow with tables and benches at the shadow of pines: here you will find the indication to start the woodland ring-route. Since it is mainly flat, the trail is suitable for everyone and, although it is very known, it gives the opportunity to have a direct contact with nature: if you are lucky, you may even sight a roe deer. Always along the ring-route, near "Pera Caval", tables and benches welcome both the visitor and whole families who want to relax in a natural place not so far from the city chaos.
If from the parking area you take the road running along the Regional Tree Nursery, you can decide whether reaching San Valeriano Chapel or San Giulio church, just outside the Park borders. Trail no. 9 on the map, violet like all the others, is not marked and leads to the abandoned quarry you cannot enter for safety reasons.
