Very satisfying itinerary despite (someone would say thanks to) the not negligible efforts due to the difference in height, the length of the itinerary and the cyclic presence of muddy stretches.
This place has significant interesting elements as far as the landscape (long stretches between Reno and Setta with panoramic views), the botanical features (mixed broad-leaved trees forests, holm oaks and Scots pine) and the wildlife (possibility to observe ungulates and wolves) are concerned. It must be highlighted that this is mainly a historic and memorial Park dedicated to the memory of the saddest massacre of civilians committed by the Nazi in Italy.
Difficulty level: from medium to high, depending on the season (presence of muddy and steep stretches)
