The path starts near the ruins of the Nero's Villa, where the street connecting Subiaco with Jenne starts. Once crossed the asphalted road one goes on climbing the large steps made of stone that lead to the S. Scolastica Monastery. From here the path slightly enters the wood until it intersects the road running along the river Aniene. One turns left walking the street which is asphalted in its first stretch and then turns into a dirt road.
