Olive oil's story is the main subject of the Porta del Parco in Bagaladi.
The Porta del Parco was realized by recovering the old oil-mill, where the olive oil museum has been established. Within the museum there are several ancient and unusual tools which were used in the olive-mills until the early 20th century, and a sill working water olive-mill. A dedicated section describes the olive cultivation and the olive oil production through pictures and videos.
This old olive-mill has become a reception place of the Aspromonte Park, and it tells the visitors a tradition which is not only a memory, but the actual way to live this territory.
By the structure there is a refreshments point where it is possible to taste the typical food products of Aspromonte.
