The trail leading from Gambarie to Montalto (red-white-red trail marker, it takes 9 hours, back and forth) leaves from SS road 183, 300 meters far from Piazza Mangeruca. It climbs to the spring of Acqua della Face and to Piazza Nino Martino, and then goes down to Caddeo; it goes up to the clearings of Materazzelli, and finally arrives at the foot of Montalto. You can reach the top of this mountain through a sweet climb: from here you will enjoy a view of the whole Aspromonte. It is characterized by a bronze statue representing the Redeemer, and by a suggestive bronze wind rose.
