The rather demanding ring-route Platì - Piano Alati - Aria del Vento - Platì (trail no. 111) takes 5 hours. After leaving Platì, you go on towards Palumbo; then you go further on towards Passo Sava, along the edge of the "fiumara" of Platì and passing through holm oak and British oak woods. Once you have passed the "fiumara", go down to the path till Piani Alati (1,000 meters). Here the track is linked to the forest, turns right, and goes through thick beechwoods until you reach Aria del Vento (1,024 meters). To come back, take the mule-track descending to Plati and joining the path of the outward journey near the spring Corato.
