• Departure: Palizzi Superiore (272m)
• Arrival: Pietrapennata Borgo (673m)
• Duration: 4 hour/s
• Length: 12 km
• Difference in height: Uphill 500m - Downhill 200m

Important Note: at the moment, there is no accommodation in Pietrappenata, except in tents. There are no food shops. However, the sixth and seventh stage could be walked in one day and then, from Pietrapennata, you could continue to Staiti.

Drinking water available: in Palizzi at the start and many sources along the path
