The path starts in Fabrizia (963 m), a village of woodland and charcoal traditions, rich in orchards, and continues towards the Pass of Croce Ferrata (1,128 m). A downhill section leads to Gelata Valley (1,016 m) and then up to 1,137 m on the slopes of Mounte Seduto. From here begins a descent of about 12 km which, after passing Plain della Limina and the Jonio-Tirreno state road, climbs and then descends again to the junction with SP35 (Provincial Road 35) (840 m). From here begins the slight ascent towards Canolo (946), which is reached after about 5 km, a village between two canyons on the Dossoni della Melia, from which dominates the Locri, just 2 km from the Mercante Pass, the pass that already in the Magna Graecia era put the two Calabrian coasts in communication.
