The Rural Life Museum in Scido is housed in Palazzo Ruffo, a building dating back to 1875 and home to the Municipal Library. The Museum exhibits material evidence of ancient trades lost in the memory of time. Everything is preserved and exhibited: tools, cauldrons, various old irons. Inside the museum there is an old stone mill, with a large hydraulically driven porzian wheel from the early decades of the 20th century still in working order. Each piece in the collection allows the visitor to immerse themselves in a world only apparently far away.
