Borgo di Fogliano consists of a group of historical buildings dating back to the late 18th century.

For a long time it belonged to the Caetani family, that also set up the botanical garden, where numerous plant species from all over the world were collected. An itinerary goes through the garden, that can be visited by previous booking at the Park offices; the rest of the area is instead freely accessible.

Borgo of Fogliano has a large green area, an environmental education workshop dedicated to wetlands, and an ornithological museum.
