Parco Nazionale della Val Grande

The new ecomuseum centre Mu.Ma.G. Museo del Marmo Rosa e del Granito (Pink Marble and Granite Museum) is located in Albo di Mergozzo, via Francia 29, in the municipal-owned building that was home to the hamlet's kindergarten from 1929 to 1984.
The renovation of the building and its staging, designed by the Val Grande National Park, with the important contribution of materials and documents collected by the Mergozzo Archaeological Group, and with the concession of marble artefacts from the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, aims to preserve and disseminate knowledge of these precious materials, their processing and the journey - the theme of the exhibition rooms - that these stones have made and still make towards Milan and other destinations in the world.
