Miazzina
The place of the sun
The town, located at 750 mt. high, is lying halfway up the hillside, immersed in the green of the sunny side of Mount Pala, in such a panoramic position that it has earned the now traditional name of "balcony over Lake Maggiore". From here, the view stretches from Mount Genoroso in the Canton of Ticino to the wide green area of the Intrasca Valley, and from Lake Maggiore to the lakes of Varese and Monate.
