This guidebook describes ten mountaineering proposals dedicated to ten of the most representative summits of Vigezzo, Cannobina, Onsernone, and Centovalli valleys.
A selection of itineraries that has been chosen not without difficulties. As a matter of fact, each choice must necessarily follow some rules. This selection has been hard, because each mountain has its own particular features, and the result is without a doubt subjective. However, a selection was necessary.
The result is represented by a selection of ten among the most interesting summits of this area of the Alps. Pizzo Medaro, Mt. Ziccher, Pizzo Ruscada, Mt. Limidario, Mt. Torriggia, Mt. Giove, La Piota, Cimone di Cortechiuso, Cimone di Straolgio and Pizzo Stagno, and a proposal directly involving the area of Val Grande: Cima Sasso, a spectacular natural balcony in the heart of the wilderness.
