No barriers between visitors and the objects on display.
Alevè Forest Visitor Center in Casteldelfino is dedicated to the mythical Swiss Stone Pine Alevè Forest, in Valle Varaita, on the slopes of Monviso.
In a museum, usually visitors follow an itinerary and observe the objects on display in cabinets, cases, and dioramas, and the finds are protected and separated from them with glass and crystal. As if the observer and the observed object belonged to two worlds, divided and not communicating.
