We are neither in China, nor in some far land of the East. We are in the Po Valley, in the Municipality of Rifreddo, where, thanks to the passion of Brondino family, silkworm breeding has been recovered, at least on a smaller scale. The film talks about this particular experience, born with didactic purposes, focusing on the life cycle of the silkworm, on the traditions linked to this activity and culture, promoting the knowledge of an abandoned tradition surviving only in the memories of the elderly. A unique occasion for schools to discover from real life and not only from the books the traces and evidences of silkworm breeding history. Duration: 15 minutes, in DVD.
