"La Via del Sale - Viaggio nella storia geologica della Valle Po" aims at leading tourists to discover the geological features characterizing this ancient trail crossing the valley, from Paesana to the French border. The guidebook illustrates both the geological formations characterizing this section of the Alps and the landscape, shaped by the atmospheric events, without neglecting the aspects linked to the interaction that has always existed between man and geology.
Among the rests of an ancient ocean or the evidences of glaciers that have now disappeared, the Po valley reveals us the real nature of Earth, an alive and constantly evolving planet, whose delicate balances we must respect and safeguard.
