Located at 463 mt. a.s.l, it is mentioned on a 996 Nonantola map together with Guiglia. From the church, dedicated to Saint Giovanni, we have news since 1163, but it could be dated to the previous century. Inside there are paintings and sculptures of considerable value. Elements of the presbytery are probably of the VIII - IX century and some capitals, like those of the crypt, of the XI century. The painting of St. John the Baptist, is from the 1600s and in the octagonal baptistery opposite the church, built in 1907, a carved baptismal font dating back to the IX century is preserved.
