The Park can also be considered a reference point for scientific research and degree theses. As a matter of fact, in a regional park the monitoring activities of the animal population are ordinary activities, but also pilot projects with extremely innovative contents can be started and find practical application. In the protected area it is possible to carry out the census regarding flora and fauna for the conservation of the endangered species outside their natural environment. Moreover, reintroduction and/or repopulation measures would enrich the autochthonous fauna. It is possible to cooperate with the local authorities as far as the management of fauna is concerned or with ASL (local health board) for the sanitary monitoring of fauna. To sum up, the regional park is a subject carrying out scientific research with practical, application, and management results, with reduced costs. Therefore, the Park is not considered a museum crystallized in time, but a territory with a safeguard function at people's disposal, used to be experienced and to provide cultural instruments. Drawing young people closer to nature, involving teachers, activating local population from the elementary schools, structuring programs and projects for the schools visiting the Park. And in this field, several initiatives can be promoted by cooperatives/associations of young people, from the organization of guided visits. In the same way, the Park can start and organize training courses and professional advice. Moreover, we think it is necessary to activate structures like: a projection hall of at least 100 persons, a didactic workshop with about 30 seats, a visitor center as ecomuseum (Bourbon ironworks), promoting social integration and cultural activities. Moreover, and with a relatively low investment, the ecological trails of the Park area could be made accessible (among which Frassati Trail and other nature trails). |

In the Multifunctional Center of the State Corps of Forester of Villa Vittoria in Mongiana, there is the Environmental Education Center of the Network In.f.e.a. which can be contacted for the organization of stages and guided visits within the Nature Park and the Biogenetic Reserves. |
