Stilo Archiforo
In order to boost the nature tourism in the Protected Area, the workers of the Serre Park have realized a path within the Archiforo forest (reported in the folder) which crosses a wonderful mixed forest made of white firs and beeches, which is typical of the Serre's territory. From the nursery in the locality "Rosarella", at an altitude of 900 m, up to 1,000 m in the locality "Pietra del Signore", whose name is due to the presence of a huge granite batholith.
Following the route it is possible to observe the quarries where workers extracted granite, the areas where woodcutters cut the huge trees that were dragged by the herdsmen, and the typical charcoal piles called "scarazzi" and used by the charcoal burners to produce charcoal
