3rd census activity - December 2000

This census activity, following the 1992 and 1995 census activities, was carried out in the year 2000 thanks to the Special Agriculture Project financed by Regione Lombardia.
The census activity has highlighted the urgent need for a serious safeguard policy of this cultivation method characterized by high management costs.
