Park's partner farms and holiday farms
Farms and holiday farms in this list have signed a memorandum of understanding with the Authority for Parks and Biodiversity - Romagna section, thus agreeing on certain shared purposes:
- encouraging responsible tourism in the Park of Vena del Gesso Romagnola
- fostering the unitary image of Parco della Vena del Gesso
- preserving and promoting the territory of Vena del Gesso Romagnola and its environmental, natural, historical, architectural, cultural, and productive characteristics.
- fostering multifunctionality as well as income diversification in agriculture
- encouraging farmers' initiatives to protect the soil, territory and environment, by increasing income and improving the quality of life
- supporting agriculture and forestry in rural areas within the Park territory and in agreement with the Park rules
- recovering the rural architectural heritage preserving the landscape, historical, architectural, and environmental characteristics
- supporting and promoting local products, quality products, and the eno-gastronomic traditions linked with them
- encouraging initiatives to support products and services offered by multi-functional farms
- bringing the population and younger generations nearer to the agricultural world, to its traditions and its culture, to disseminate knowledge on local and regional agricultural system
On this basis, initiatives and events are planned to jointly promote Parco regionale della Vena del Gesso Romagnola and its local products.
