SAT has created this itinerary in the framework of a wider national network of Frassati trails, promoted by the Italian Alpine Club and dedicated to the blessed Piergiorgio Frassati, an especially important figure for young people and scouts. The Trentino stretch links the sanctuaries of Arco in upper Garda and San Romedio in Val di Non, through the Biosphere's southern portion.
