From the first houses in Dosso, take the mule track leading towards Azzone. After some meadows, the first junction is reached. Turn right and follow an uphill path until you get to cross a small valley. For a long way, the mule track marks the uphill border of the protected area. After a short ramp you will reach the meadows of "Paen alto", deriving from ancient cuttings; near the last mountain hut a particularly active ant colony tends to occupy with its nest the mule track. Farther on, a lay-by of blackish soil recalls the old activity of coalmen. Go ahead along the right side of the latter, along the path leading to "Fontane del Paen". Just before them, turn right again and take the comfortable path crossing a wonderful silver and Spruce fir high forest. After "Valle della Tent", the path touches some of the numberless charcoal pile barnyards (locally called "jai") present in the wood. Venturing farther on within a mixed high forests with Spruce and silver firs, you can reach in a short time the road coming from Azzone in the location "Giuadel".
