"Conservation and Reintroduction of the European Pond Turtle in the Riserva Naturale Integrale di Bosco Nordio"

Project established according to the D.G.R. n. 2631 of 18th September 2002: Interventions for the conservation and the safeguard of nature in the protected areas. The project "Conservation and reintroduction of the European pond turtle (Emys orbicularis) in the Riserva Naturale Integrale di Bosco Nordio" consists of a series of measures for the monitoring of the herpetofauna, for the conservation and the reintroduction of the Emys orbicularis, and for the promotion of the information about the species (panels and brochure). Length of the project: 6 months.

Accessible Trail

Within the Reserve a 1100 m long “Accessible Trail” will be soon available: it will be provided with structures which can guarantee the accessibility by people with disabilities and with informative panels which can be read also by blind or visually handicapped people. |
