Rice Fields and Poplar Woods along the Stream Elvo |

| The lands of the reserve are mainly cultivated with corn, rice, and poplars. In the heart of the reserve there is a monospecific forest now made up of a locust tree coppice wood, while until 1976 it consisted of large oaks, and it was populated by about 1,500 couples of Ardeidaes. Since the establishment of the reserve, the number of couples nesting in the area is increasing: among them, the Night Heron, the Little Egret, and the Gray Heron. (No admittance in the area, except for research reasons). |
